Our small quiet Downtown Asheville building, built in 1885, was a department store in the early 1900s and still has the original
windows and brick walls. You will feel secure as the building is locked at street level but also has a
buzzer system to allow visitors to enter and come up on the elevator or stairs. Amenities include one queen
size deluxe bed, fine linens, satellite TV, queen sleeper sofa with memory foam pad, DVD and CD players,
wireless internet access, two 27" flat screen televisions, dining area, fully equipped modern kitchen, air
conditioning and heat. Parking is available on the street or in the large covered parking deck across the street
for a maximum of $8/day. However, if you exit on a Saturday or Sunday, or before the hours of 10:00 and
after 7:00 on a weekday, you simply pay a $1 exit fee. The Lobster Trap, a popular seafood restaurant, is on
the first floor, and Spa Theology, a beautiful day spa, is right next door and they offer special rates to our
guests. If you have special requests, such as chocolates or flowers for a special occasion, you can ask your
host, Lynne, and she will accommodate you whenever possible.
